Review: Michael Jackson ONE (Cirque Du Soleil)

The story begins with four main characters who somehow sneak their way into Neverland and encounter crazy, out of this world creatures and experience wild adventures as they each take one signature Michael item- glove, hat, socks, and shoes.  And while much of the show is music, dance, and story-driven, it wouldn't be Cirque without the amazing acrobatics and stunts - including slacklining, hat juggling, rope climbing, bungee, and pole dancing.  And the best part is that it's happening all around you!  There were performers out in the aisles and even characters flying above you coming from all parts of the theatre.  It truly felt like you were in the middle of an epic medley of Michael Jackson music videos.  And without revealing too much, the show's most memorable moment is certainly during 'Man In The Mirror'- which had nearly brought me to tears.  The production during that segment, by itself, is worth the price of admission.

I certainly don't want to give too much away and I highly encourage you to see the show for yourself.  And if you're a hardcore, Michael Jackson fanatic like me, then it's worth making the trip out to Las Vegas just to see this show.  In fact, I KNOW I'm going to be seeing this show again.  It is, hands down, the best show I have ever seen.
