Week 4: The Speed-Up Challenge

Here's how it played out:
Boogie Bots started out, dancing to Lil Wayne's Lollipop. There was no theme to their performance, but some good moves including tut-ing, back flips, and some wicked rolls. Not nearly as fun as last week, and a little sloppy.

Super Cr3w had a graffiti artist and gold statue theme, and their moves fit the theme. Dancing to Creator by Santogold, they used a lot of B-boy moves incluing coin drop and flips. While Lil Mama thought it was original, Shane was not blown away.

A.S.I.I.D. played a bizarre game of cops and ballerina robbers, dancing to Dangerous. This enabled them to throw ballet moves into the mix, which thrilled the judges.

SoReal Cru danced to Chris Brown's With You. There was no theme, but the moves were some of the most intricate of the night, with circles, some sexy body rolls and something needing overhead camerawork. Judges' verdict: cool but not dope, with the fast section involving too much thinking, not enough selling.

Fanny Pak stuck to their retro roots, staging a prom gone poisonous to Mariah Carey's Touch My Body. This crew understands themes and props, and threw in some fun flips and booty shakes, enough to make Shane call them his favorite group right now.

BOTTOM TWO CREWS:
Phresh Select used some nerd and a statue theme that I couldn't quite figure out. They danced to Shawty is a Ten by the Dreams. There were a few good moves, but the judges didn't find it complicated enough.

Supreme Soul Partied Like a Rock Star, working the theme, the shirts and some acrobatic flips to appease the judges. Their performance was good enough to save them for another week.
